In business and in life, there’s no shortage of noise — decisions to make, opportunities to chase, challenges to overcome. What I’ve found is that the more complex life becomes, the more essential it is to have something that doesn’t change. For me, that’s my values.
Values aren’t just words on a wall or things you say when someone asks about your mission. They’re the quiet forces behind your decisions — how you lead, how you show up for others, and how you build. I’ve spent years refining both my personal core values and the ones my wife Ember and I have intentionally shaped for our family. These guide everything I do — from running companies and leading teams to raising our four daughters.
This is a deeper look into what we stand for and why it matters.
🔹 My Personal Core Values
🌀 Momentum
To me, growth isn’t a one-time event — it’s the result of consistent effort, early investment, and decisive action. I live by principles like the Law of the Harvest and the Law of the Farm — where consistent, intentional planting creates exponential results. I strive to move fast, but with purpose. Productivity, prioritization, and staying sharp are non-negotiables in my world.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.”
🛡️ Security
This is about more than just money — it’s about peace of mind. I believe in building a strong foundation — financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I see life as a strategic game — every decision, every investment, and every conversation is a move that brings me closer to stability, freedom, and opportunity. I play the long game.
Freedom to vs. freedom from.
Pay the piper now… or pay more later.
📈 Better Every Day
There’s no final destination in growth — only expansion. I am addicted to learning, driven to improve my behavior, habits, and thinking. I set “Do, Be, Feel” goals every year and constantly push myself to become more aligned and aware. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress.
“Know thyself” is not a quote — it’s a lifelong challenge.
✅ Accountability
I believe in owning everything I touch. That means showing up, doing what I say I’ll do, and holding myself to the same standards I expect from others. I don’t pass blame. I believe in “See it. Own it. Solve it. Do it.” — the mantra of true responsibility.
Leadership starts with ownership.
🏆 Quality Over Quantity
I’d rather do a few things with excellence than do everything at 70%. In business, in relationships, and in how I spend my time — depth matters more than volume. I’m intentional about how I show up and where I invest my energy.
Did I love? Did I live? Did I matter?
🔸 Our Family Core Values
My wife Ember and I have built a framework of values that guide how we raise our daughters, make decisions, and live as a family. Here’s what the Boyd family stands for:
👨👩👧👧 Family First
Our family is our foundation. We invest in experiences, traditions, and time together — from one-on-one dates with our kids to weekly family nights and shared adventures. When one of us wins, we all win.
“No amount of success outside the home can compensate for failure within it.”
⛪ Live With Purpose
We lead with faith, gratitude, and integrity. We believe we’ve been given time and talents for a reason, and we strive to use them to serve others, stand firm in our beliefs, and do what’s right — even when it’s hard.
Faith over fear. Gratitude over entitlement. Purpose over popularity.
🏗️ Build With Wisdom
We think long-term. Whether it’s financial stewardship, personal growth, or business decisions — we aim for sustainability and excellence. We teach our kids the value of accountability, deep work, and owning their results.
“If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.”
📚 Grow & Improve
We are a growth-minded family. We set goals, chase knowledge, and challenge each other to be better. From personal habits to spiritual progress, we embrace the discomfort that comes with development.
Progress over comfort. Curiosity over complacency.
🎉 Fun & Adventure
Life is meant to be enjoyed. We make space for joy, play, laughter, and exploration — from road trips to spontaneous moments of silliness. We believe memories matter more than material things.
Presence > productivity.
🌟 Why This Matters
Whether you’re here to explore a partnership, sell your business, work together, or just get to know me — I want you to know this: I’m not in it for the short-term gain. I’m building something lasting, and I’m looking to work with people who value purpose, growth, and integrity just as much as I do.
These values aren’t just personal — they guide how I lead my teams, work with clients, and make decisions in every business I touch.
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about who I am and what I believe in.
Let’s build something meaningful together.
